TRADING THE WINDS – Jean’s Limited Lithograph Edition Fine Art Print – image size: 15-1/2″ H x 20″ W. Having been a frequent visitor to Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge along NC’s Outer Banks, I frequently saw snow geese trading back and forth between the open waters and the impoundment ponds that had been constructed behind the dunes for protected waterfowl refuge and resting areas. They were not visitors to my area of the Chesapeake Bay, but I also saw them often on MD’s Eastern Shore and on VA’s Chincoteague Island. I entered this painting in the Ward Foundation World Wildfowl Championship Painting competition, and won first place. $195.00 unframed
