Somewhat duller and less conspicuous in winter, their epaulets blaze with golden yellow and fiery red in summer, and their wide vocabulary of calls embraces trills, warbles, high-pitched whistles and various other melodious sounds. Since the females are a much duller brown, I chose to highlight the males only in this marsh scene, but like the tree swallows, they breed anywhere, although much more prevalent in coastal areas. $99.00 Unframed
